Drug Court

The Juvenile Drug Court program is a court ordered intensive supervision program. The participants are juveniles between the ages of thirteen to seventeen who have demonstrated a propensity for drug use by repeated referrals to the juvenile justice system. Key to the Juvenile Drug Court program is judicial oversight of each participant’s progress. Drug Court provides substance abuse treatment, along with quick consequences for behavior that perpetuates drug use or delinquent activity and rewards the participant with incentives for positive behaviors and successes in order to encourage sobriety and restructure the family dynamics in a positive manner.
